If you’ve stopped by to see who I am and what I’m up to, thanks for coming! I write inspirational Christian non-fiction and fiction with the flavor of the South wrapped up in every blog or forthcoming book. Writing from the middle of Mississippi, I suppose I cannot do otherwise, but I would not change it now for anything. I must say I have not always thought of it that way, though.
I am so thankful to be able to point you to my first release, Start to Finish: Starting a Walk with God That Can Finish Strong. Though somewhat different from the planned projects to follow, Start to Finish will give you insight into what God has done in this old Southern girl for the thirty plus years He has guided my walk with Him. I am bursting at the seams to share it with you.
Now there is a second offering for your perusal: Up is Just Backwards When You’re on the Way Down: Thirty Doses of Wit and Wisdom on Staying Upright. I was not vying for the longest title award when naming this work, rather I wanted to convey the lighter side of deep thoughts. The thirty articles range from humorous to helpful and are sure to encourage and challenge the reader to press for the highest aims in life.
In the meantime, would you like to check out some posts from my heart over recent years? That should be a good starting place. Enjoy!
News flash, July 25, 2020: I am thankful to have received an award from Southern Christian Writers Conference for a Letter to the Editor published in the Jasper County News in October 2019. The letter addressed concerns over how Medicare plans are marketed to senior adults. Thank you, SCWC for the encouragement!
